The Peat Free Pathway
Practical pathways, evidence and collaboration to accelerate peat reduction and peat-free horticulture
The Peat Free Pathway is a UK industry-led initiative supporting horticultural sectors as they assess and develop practical routes towards reduced-peat and peat-free production.
Developed together with growers and crop associations, the initiative combines crop-specific roadmaps, grower data, research priorities and collaborative trials to address technical and commercial barriers and support evidence-based decision-making across the horticultural supply chain.
